EXHIBITOR'S FACT SHEET

65th ANNUAL BRENNEMANN MEMORIAL LECTURES

Disney Paradise Pier® Hotel, Anadeim California

September 11-14, 2008

THE SOCIETY. The Los Angeles Pediatric Society is independent, non-profit and is one of the largest single chapter associations of its kind in the country. Its membership represents more than 200 cities throughout California and other states.

MAILING LIST. The Society Newsletter and major program announcements are sent to pediatricians in 11 western states and Hawaii, as well as to physicians in a number of other states who have indicated an interest in major pediatric events. The list also includes over 300 California hospitals and more than 250 local pediatric interns and residents.

THE LECTURES. The Brennemann Lectures is the most outstanding annual pediatric event on the West Coast. In recent years, attendance has been between one hundred and two hundred. Principal guest speakers are nationally distinguished medical specialists. The speakers for 2008 are Drs. Stanley Szefler (Allergy and Immunization), Marvin E. Ament (Gastroenterology), Rena Falk (Genetics), and TBA (Radiology).

ACCREDITATION. The medical lectures are recognized by the California Medical Association in its Continuing Medical Education Program. All physicians and nurses attending may receive credit toward a certificate in the program. In addition the meeting has been approved by the Board of Nursing, Sate of California for credit.
In keeping with the Society policy to encourage and assist them in their medical education, pediatric residents, without limit to number or hospital location, are admitted to the Lectures at a modest entrance fee.

EXHIBITORS. The exhibit area consists of separate exhibit spaces with electrical outlets and display tables. The location of the exhibit area is situated so that all attending the meetings are encouraged to visit the exhibits.

The number of exhibitors in recent years has been considered ideal for the space available; exhibit spaces will continue to be limited to that number. Either of the following plans are available for participating firms:

PLAN A. The exhibitor will contribute $850.00 and receive use of an exhibit space for the complete meeting.

PLAN B. The exhibitor will contribute $2000.00 as an unrestricted educational grant in support of the meeting.

Sincerely,

Marshall Goldberg, MD
